[SEG] Remember When | 7th Anniversary ℳep (read desc.)

Hello everyone, it’s Pia here!
Well, I can barely believe it’s the 7. Anniversary of SEG. It feels way longer and also like I just opened it yesterday? SEG was born on the 17. December 2012 by me with the help of my dear Mari who I actually just met a few weeks earlier as well. Back then Skype was actually a rather new way to communicate for studios since back then YT actually had a working message system. Sadly many studios’ that used YT’s own system didn’t care a lot about the actual people doing mep part for their projects, so my idea with SEG was to create a studio that cares about the person behind the YT name! Also a lot of my YT friends used Skype and I wanted to create a studio for all of us to finally be together. Back then I uploaded a (really bad) audition video that basically accepted everyone right away (now known as applications) and that was the beginning of SEG’s history! Over the years I met so many amazing people thanks to the studio! Friendships that lasted for a while or some even 7 years (Hi Lulu :3) Though SEG I got to know Mari better and now I can’t imagine a life without her. We created so many MEPs together that we could probably watch for hours if we put them all together. Every single one of them has a story and is part of my memories. SEG most likely made me to the person I am today. 7 years of fun, memories and a lot of hard work. I even got to meet a few of my seggies and swapped letters and packets with one another! It’s been an amazing time.


But every great story has an end and this is SEG’s. After 7 years of editing, it just isn’t the same to me. I've been struggling for a while and I decided to mainly stop editing. I always planned to close SEG when I'd leave since I don’t wanna watch it die slowly one day. SEG has always been my little baby and I'm just not able to give it into someone else’s hands. That said I did have a lot of helping ‚hands' throughout the years and I want to try and thank them all so much for all they've done for SEG: Mari, Suni, Josi, Jana, John, Erin and Hell, for being the best co-leaders I could’ve hoped for!
And an extra special thanks to the 2 that stayed with me until the end: Lulu and Pau-chan! You girls are clearly angels. Especially the last year was so hard for me but you pulled through and did SO f*cking much for me and SEG. You’re true friends and I sincerely hope that the end of SEG will not be the end of our friendship.
And last but not least, the people that made all this possible: My beautiful seggies. All of you either current or ex-members did keep SEG alive over 7 years and there is no way this would have ever happened without your hard work and dedication! Thank you so much for keeping my baby alive.
