Season five of The Flash has offered us plenty of twists and turns. From Barry and Iris’ daughter coming to visit them from the future to the challenge of Cicada, and more importantly Cicada’s second incarnation, his grown-up niece, to the revelation that Eobard Thawne is Nora’s confidant and mentor, this season has been full of surprises. With the finale speeding closer each day, we’re using this video to look at some theories that might clue us in to what will happen by the end of this season and on into season six. First, we’ll start with a brief recap of where our characters stand. Then we’ll look at some potential villains that could become major players in season six, including Godspeed and Red Death. Then we’ll take a look at the possibility of Ralph getting a love life next year and what could prompt Cisco’s exit at the end of season five. Finally we’ll take a look at the biggest questions currently running through our heads: Why is Eobard Thawne helping Nora, will we learn the reasons behind the Flash’s 2024 disappearance, and what will ultimately happen to Nora? Although the theories we’re discussing are only speculation right now, we think they have a good chance of proving to be true as the story of The Flash continues to move forward.
