Uttar Pradesh government has announced an ex gratia of 25 lakh rupees for the family of the Unnao rape victim. Senior UP minister Swami Prasad Maurya who was sent to Unnao to meet the bereaved family, has handed over the cheque to the victim's father. Maurya said a fast track court will be set up for the speedy justice in this case.
