Assam Opposes CAB, Fears Increase In Bengali-Speaking Population | ABP News

The much-controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 was passed in the Lok Sabha on Monday and a day after it protests were reported Assam. The state fears that after the implementation of Citizenship Amendment Bill, there would be an increase in the number of Bengali speaking population and hence there would be a loss of culture
