A case report - Do monkeys adopt ?

So I have finally met the legendary monkey who has been actually nursing others' babies every year since records began a good 20 years ago. I do not understand how she could still be lactating at her age. And with her deformities and disability she doesn't derive much benefits from this commitment. Perhaps this is true altruism 😇
