Kurt Volker, the former U.S. special envoy to Ukraine, testified on Nov. 19 that, “at no time was I aware of, or knowingly took part in, an effort to urge Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Biden.” Volker testified during a public impeachment probe hearing before the House Intelligence Committee that he was not aware that President Donald Trump mentioned Biden or his son to Ukraine’s president in a July 25 until notes of that call were released on Sept. 25.
