WATCH: Volker testifies he was not aware of effort to get Ukraine to investigate Biden Kurt Volker, the former U.S. special envoy to Ukraine, testified on Nov. 19 that, “at no time was I aware of, or knowingly took part in, an effort to urge Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Biden.” Volker testified during a public impeachment probe hearing before the House Intelligence Committee that he was not aware that President Donald Trump mentioned Biden or his son to Ukraine’s president in a July 25 until notes of that call were released on Sept. 25. Volker testified alongside Tim Morrison, a former White House official who served on the National Security Council.
