In 1979, Quo headed out on that years tour, known as the "National Tour", starting with gigs in the European region before returning home to the UK for a the rest of the tour. The band played multiple nights at almost every venue they attended in the UK, doing 3 nights at Wembley Arena, 4 at the Edinburgh Odeon, 3 nights at the famous Glasgow Apollo and finishing the tour off with 3 nights at the Hammersmith Odeon and a gig at Dalymount Park.
Border TV did a feature on Quo's new biography at the time "The Authorised Biography" by the band and John Shearlaw. Interviews were done with band members, Bob Young and stage crew.
