Rumor: New PS5 Exclusive SOCOM Game Is Being Developed by Guerrilla Games

A new rumor has popped up that comes from a known industry insider that a new PS5 exclusive SOCOM game is being developed by Guerrilla Games. It has been known for a little while now that Sony owned first party studio Guerrilla Games has a second team working on a big multiplayer project, so this rumor does seem very plausible and would make a lot of sense.

We do have to take it with a grain of salt but we know that Sony plans to move gamers over to the PlayStation 5 as fast as possible, they confirmed this. So having as many games available at launch sounds like something they would do, offer a lot of variety in their exclusives. Having a Demon Souls Remake, a new SOCOM title, and a Gran Turismo game would be a very solid launch lineup.
