Ozone Layer is Healing Faster Than Expected!

Ozone layer was discovered in 1913. Most of ozone layer is located in stratosphere about 50 Km above the Earth surface. Ozone layer absorbs 98% of Sun's UV radiation and protects us from dangerous health issues.

If there were so ozone layer that would lead to several diseases such as immune system suppression and sometimes even the skin cancer. In 1985 scientists found a hole in ozone layer in Antarctic.

That has been damaged by CFCs we use in solvents and refrigerants. As a result government banned or limited CFC's and ozone started healing itself. According to a latest report ozone Layer is healing very fast and it would heal completely by 2060.
