But with that convenience comes risk, security risks for you and your family. Each new device means another connection into your home Wi-Fi which equates to more risk.

Just Kidding I haven’t seen a toilet yet with Wi-Fi capability, yet it doesn’t mean it won’t happen. But I want you to ask yourself when you are buying “smart appliances or devices”, Do I really need these features, are they going to benefit my life for the better?

Here are 3 quick questions you can ask yourself to make sure you've covered the basics with securing your home Wi-Fi.

First, did you change the default password when you installed your router? Is your router currently updated with the latest firmware? And Are you changing your Wi-Fi password regularly?

A smart toilet with Wi-Fi… eh, I think that is a load of crap. But who knows what the future might bring.
