Many of you know that I collect old films like this one. I love the feeling of old 8 mm and 16mm. I wish it wasn't a silent movie but it still gives a feeling for how this place was at this time. Does it tell the whole story? Of course not. But I do feel from looking at the girls and the boys a certain social interaction which does not exist anymore. These are not baby boomers. These are people from the silent generation. My generation. And I was one of those young people who couldn't perform like so many of these people look like they are doing. Wouldn't it be interesting to search them out today and find out what happened to all those smiling girls and muscular looking boys? Unfortunately, I have no names and only no that this is Pasadena California high school, 1952.
