And-again-a trip back in time. We'll again check out the classic gadgets in the A.M. Grove Store/Station, along with that hand-operated wooden elevator (hard to believe someone can lift a heavy stove with just one hand on the rope)! Sorry for the length of this sequence, but I find this sort-of thing fascinating! Secret's in the pulley...and the counterweight.
After a visit to the Ma & Pa yard, we take the long way home (as a song once said) so we might pass through another Ma & Pa locality-Felton PA. Again I edited in the classic photos from the early 1980s.
Then, our return route takes through Stewartstown, home of the Stewartstown Railroad (obviously-I hope). Can't help thinking about the town's movie theater, and how the original Star Wars was last to play there! That would've been 1977. Yep-been passing through for a while now!
Not exactly an Odyssey, but still a (mostly) fun drive!
And-also again-sorry for the ads, and for any delay in responding to comments. STILL on public PCs!
