Pt 18 Ch 20 the Miracle of clearing the desire for the experience of attack.

In this Light Circle we continue asking Jesus—the symbol of the Light within—to help reveal desires below our level of awareness from Chapter 20 of Jesus: A New Covenant ACIM so we can ask for a miracle, a change of perception. We begin with Light—the immediate recognition of what is holy, whole and complete. Light Circles reveal that conversations with Jesus are very natural and easy for us. When we ask the Light to reveal the desire for an experience of attack, that attacking ourselves, God or another is possible, so we can admit the desire and ask for a miracle. If the Light we recognize that all pain and suffering can be transcended with the willingness to look directly and admit the miscreation, the desire for the experience. We ask to be shown the desire for the mis-creation of anger to experience attack. Since mis-creation is a desire to limit Infinite Love we ask for a miracle to change this perception. The Light reveals the desire to mis-create an experience of forgetting there is another way of perceiving–true perception–perception in wholeness. As this desire is revealed we ask for a miracle, a change in perception from fragmented to whole perception. We ask to see the desire below our level of awareness for the mis-creation of attack to avoid the experience of the Light. If there is a desire for attack to be salvation we will believe that attack is salvation, so we ask the Light to help uncover desires for this experience, to honor the Light of Truth to see as the Light attack is impossible. As the energetic investment in the desire for attack is admitted, and cleared in the Light by the miracle, we recognize that the Light is only here to help, that we can hear the Voice for God and honor that all there is Light—the Light of Divine being.

In Jesus: A New Covenant ACIM, Jesus points to the power of direct experience of the Light within to clear denials of divinity. He shares that all the beliefs that are denials of Divinity are given in A Course in Miracles, and translates these beliefs in ANC to denials so that we can look directly with him. In Light Circles we focus on the Light first, and in this Light beliefs and desires that seem to deny awareness of unconditional Love, our true nature, are quickly cleared. And if asked, Jesus will reveal the subconscious denials. This principle is being applied daily in the mornings in and the evenings via Zoom to ACIM Course lessons.
