Many people ask how I positioned the camera. I got a spare piece of rigger and attached it to the top of the oarlock and then put a Go-Pro on the end of that. So the Go Pro is maybe 75cm outboard of the oarlock. It messes up the balance of the boat a little but once you've got a bit of speed it seems to settle down. Tip: if you do it - make sure, from the launching stage, it'a all attached to the riverside rigger. If you do it on the riverbank rigger you'll have a nasty surprise when you try and land back on the launching pontoon after you've finished sculling....
