Pacific Derby Dual Suspension Bike | The weirdest mountain bike on the market?

The Pacific Derby has a strange frame design similar to the Pacific Evolution. Regular viewers know I had little love for the Pacific Evolution. Pacific bicycles are one of the lowest tier brands from Pacific Cycle. Interesting that the bikes that carry their makers name are the lowest spec bikes they sell. The Derby keeps the bottom end components, but mixes in the weird frame and a dual suspension.

I try to find the best in every bike, and hope this video reflects that. Is the Derby a bike for seasoned riders or for actual mountain bike trails - NO. Would it work around the neighborhood and on city streets - YES. Overall, I would rate this along with all other cheaper full suspension mountain bikes. That is to say Mountain-Style only. Not true trail bikes.
