Turkey agreed on Thursday to a US request to temporarily suspend the operation provided that Kurdish fighters withdraw from the border area, but fighting has reportedly appeared to continue despite the agreement.
Protesters are calling for worldwide protests against Turkey and to demand an immediate ceasefire.
