Lighting is an important element in the built environment and it has the ability to influence human emotions. More often than not, the potential of lighting is often underestimated and brushed off as a technical item under the engineers or contractors. This seminar hopes to impart what light can do for human and architecture if they are used correctly. With the advent of IoT, lighting can be made to work harder to deliver both the emotional and commercial outcome that will add value to a development.

The technical session will touch on the broader aspects of light, lighting design and lighting technologies to give the audience a holistic view of the role that lighting plays in construction projects and the built environment.
