In this video I explain 1 cornering tip all riders need to know and master. This was explained way better at Yamaha Champion Riding School when I attended their Champ day. Highly recommend going to champschool.com for more information and to follow all their social media. For any corner you're going into, keep slowing down until you're comfortable with your speed that you're going and the direction the bike is pointing and only start to accelerate until you can see the exit and start to take away lean angle. It does not matter what kind of bike you have or how fast you're riding. You can slow down by trail braking or just using the throttle and downshifting or all three. If you apply this tip, you're very unlikely to mess up a corner and go wide at the exit, which is how most single vehicle motorcycle accidents happen.
