As I have mentioned for the last three weeks... August 6th deadline has very little effect on Zeke's situation and him holding out or showing up. Showing up only hurts him if the Cowboys make him play under his current contract until it ends. If e does not show on August 6th yes he gets extended a year... but if he gets a new contract this year ot next (which we know will happen next year the latest) the current contract with the added year would be "nil and void" due to the new contract. THEREFORE The old contract with the added year for not showing up this Tuesday (6 August) would be irrelevant
