Has Lucasfilm just written Rose Tico off?

We're only a few months away from JJ Abrams's THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, and the final film in the Skywalker Saga. One of the cast members that keeps getting showcased at events like STAR WARS CELEBRATION and D23 is Kelly Marie Tran (Rose Tico). Looking at the public information about Rose's character in Episode 9, it seems that Kathleen Kennedy and Lucasfilm had no plan for her, and are now just stuck with Finn's love interest.
