This patient has recently had a large outbreak of hormonal acne on her face, specifically her cheek area and is back for a facial to help calm inflammation and irritation. All of our facials begin with a facial cleansing to rid the skin of dirt and bacteria, then the facial is applied. This facial, the plasmatic effect, is a thin enzyme-based mask. It is applied in an upward motion for lift and as it sits on the skin, begins to dry and tighten up. This helps the skin produce more collagen and allows the active ingredients to be pushed into the skin.
