In shower wash routine that isn't talked about in this video:

I shampoo my roots only and rinse with warm water, then apply my conditioner to the length of my hair only (from nape of my neck down). I then detangle with my fingers or a Wet Brush and let the conditioner sit in my hair while I finish my shower. To rinse the conditioner out, I will flip my hair forward and rinse the conditioner out while brushing my hair with my fingers. This is how I get all of my hair smoothed forward as you see at the beginning of this video.

Explanation of plopping my hair in a t-shirt:

Plopping absorbs water from my hair without creating frizz and gives my curls a chance to form on their own before I scrunch the last bit of water out of my hair after the 15 minutes of plopping. (Video on how I tie the t-shirt around my head coming very soon!)
