Welcome Home - The Jenna Marbles Musical - by Daniel Ruffing, Performed by Victoria Shell

Hey everyone! Please read this!

I have decided to cave and release one more song from the Jenna Marbles musical I’m working on.

As many of you can guess from the title, this is a song that Jenna sings to Bunny to welcome her home.

I would technically consider this a preview because the song in the musical also features Julien and they have a few duet sections, but as I’ve mentioned numerous times in the past, I will not be able to record any songs with male singers for at least another month (basically until I’m back on campus with everyone)!

However, I wasn’t too sure about some of the melodies in the song and other stuff, so I decided to meet with Victoria to at least see if everything played out smoothly, and I decided to just record it anyway because I think you all will really like the song and it’s been a while since I’ve posted a Jenna Marbles song.

Essentially, this song is the flip side of “Thank You,” which is Bunny’s song in the musical. I wanted to showcase how rescuing Bunny also impacted Jenna and Julien. Again, this features some generalizations and small fact changes (like “I don’t have a lot to give to you” - obviously this isn’t true and J&J are literally the most generous and incredible owners, but it’s there for effect and to set the scene), so I just want to clear the air with all of that!

I hope you all enjoy the song. My team is meeting later next month to start developing the script and storyline, so hopefully we’ll have more updates then!
