This message is based on the Luke chapter 15 New Testament story of the prodigal son. Pastor Carson points out that both sons in this passage, the prodigal son who left home in search of freedom and the older son who stayed behind needed to be set free.

Gal 5:1 (TPT) Let me be clear, the Anointed One has set us free—not partially, but completely and wonderfully free! We must always cherish this truth and stubbornly refuse to go back into the bondage of our past.
