New Zealand McDonald's drive thru operator swears at customer

New Zealand McDonald's drive thru operator swears at customer A McDonald's drive-thru operator's foul-mouthed tirade at a customer has been caught on video.

Teuteu Eukaliti was visiting the McDonald's restaurant in Hamilton, New Zealand on Saturday night when he was shouted and sworn at.

The server said despite a sign advertising 24 hour-service, the restaurant wouldn't sell him any food due to a system failure and he could only order from Uber Eats. You want me to come out there? I'm telling you how it is, you're just being a little b**** about it because you can't get food!' the operator was heard saying.

'You guys say its 24 f***ing hours,' the driver replied. No we don't have to be open 24 f***ing hours. Just f***ing get out of here bro!' the server said.

The woman then told Mr Eukaliti to call the head office if he had a problem because they would not be serving him.

The worker's behaviour led many viewers of the video to suggest she should be fired.Go to head office! She needs to lose her job! Zero customer service,' one person wrote.

Mr Eukaliti wrote on the post that in the end he ordered from Uber Eats and ate it in the restaurant's parking lot.

McDonald's Hamilton were sent the video via Facebook messenger, and replied saying they had been in contact with Mr Eukaliti and 'agree no one should ever receive this service'.

They also stated they have identified the employee who was involved.

'Clearly the way the staff member handled the situation was unacceptable. The restaurant manager spoke with the customer on Sunday and apologised, and an investigation into what happened is taking place,'
