FreeBirth of Ilya Greyfox || Autonomous Home Birth + Water Birth

Ilya Greyfox McMillen Taylor made their transition earthside on May 20th at 2:35pm, as we freebirthed (unassisted birth), in a birthing tub, in the comfort of our sweet home here in Austin, Texas. The 24 hours of their time coming through was nothing short of the most incredible and challenging experience of our lives.

This is the first release of our at home, freebirth. For the purposes of keeping this video available for all viewers to access on YouTube, without any potential immediate or future issues, we have opted to censor all nudity and keep the video somewhat short. If you want to see the video in it's entirety, you can do so for free on our website. The video on our website is over 90 minutes and provides a very deep look at the entire 24 hour birthing process as well as more intimate time with Ilya once they are earthside. The video on our website will be released the same day as this video (July 7th, 2019).

To be clear, we, Conor and Brittany, were the only one's in attendance of Ilya's birth. This decision came on the back of years of research, intuition and preparation. We encourage you to make informed, self-empowered decisions when deciding where to have your birth and who you want to attend. We are not in any way suggesting you do it like us but rather desire to share our experience in hopes to bring more light to your path of decisions around what we see as the most beautiful and powerful experience of human existence.
