Florida sees an increase in grade 'A' schools The number of "A" grade schools in Florida rose in the 2018-19 school year, according to the school and district grades released by the state Department of Education on Thursday.



The number of “A” schools increased to 1,172 campuses, compared to 1,043 in 2017-18. The percentage of schools earning an “A” increased to 36 percent, up from 31 percent in 2017-18.
