BUILDING A CABIN ADDITION ON A REMOTE ISLAND - Family Living Off-The-Grid /// EFRT EP 113

BUILDING A CABIN ADDITION ON A REMOTE ISLAND - Family Living Off-The-Grid /// EFRT EP 113 Our family has been living off-the-grid in our cabin on an island in the remote wilderness of Ontario, Canada since June this year. Last year we lived on the island for six months, from June to November. The entire time we were working on building a new addition to our one room, 1940’s Scandinavian scribe log cabin.

In this week’s video, we do a recap on what went into building the addition on the cabin on a remote island last summer. It was an arduous process and a lot of work was done, but it was all worth it to be able to live out here longer throughout the year when we aren’t on the road. We also made some repairs and updates to the original cabin to equip it better for the harsh Canadian winters we will endure if we plan to spend time on the island in the winter months.

Thank you all so much for watching! We hope you enjoyed the video and if you’re new to our channel we hope you will become an EFRT Family member by subscribing to our channel for new videos every Sunday!
