Hey #fiemily! it's another vidddddd and I kid you not, this is one of the proudest vid I've ever created =) I never imagine doing a hijab tutorial (haha) as I try to 'stay in my Fitness/Vlog lane'. But I figured that the message behind this video lies beyond just 'how to wrap a scarf around one's head'. Instead, i aim to shed a light on being more sustainable/ethical when choosing what we wear on our body. this includes reusing, reducing what we have, refusing what we don't need, and mostly knowing its source i.e. are the garment worker's paid well? how is the condition of their work space etc. if these boxes are not ticked, perhaps it's time to look for other clothing alternatives or better yet... thrift or buy secondhand! :) I am no where near perfect with all this but everyday i am trying. if you are interested to know more about sustainability in the fashion industry, watch 'The True Cost' on Netflix and then read Lucy Siegle's book on Fast Fashion.
