Modeling of a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) BAJA All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV)

Veer Alakshendra and Christoph Hahn show how you can model a BAJA All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) using physical blocks available in Simscape DrivelineTM. Initially, they discuss the basic components of an ATV and how these components can be assembled together in Simscape Driveline to model a full vehicle. They also discuss the effects of parameter variation and how simulation can speed up the design stage. Finally, they present a model based on a lookup table approach.
