Kolkata: Doctors stage protest after patient’s kin attack physician at NRS Medical College

Junior doctors at NRS Medical College and Hospital have declared a shut down in protest of assault against physicians. A junior doctor was assaulted by relatives of a patient who died at the hospital on Monday. The patient's kin complained of negligence on the hospital's part. The doctor who was attacked is reportedly admitted in the ICU after sustaining grievous injuries.
