An Overview of the Significant Changes in the 2018 IBC

This live web seminar discusses the major new features of the 2018 IBC structural provisions. Subjects covered include substantive revisions to structural-related Chapters 16-23. Many of the changes in Chapter 16 result from a change in the referenced standard for design loads from ASCE 7-10 including Supplement No. 1 to ASCE 7-16. The changes in other structural chapters result largely from changes in the referenced material standards such as AISC 360 and AISC 341. This seminar is designed to provide a great introduction to the 2018 IBC and assist the code user in making an eventual transition to the new code.
