Why doesn't Jürgen Klopp let his players touch the "This is Anfield" sign before games? - Oh My Goal

Liverpool did the impossible! In completing an incredible comeback against Barcelona, the Merseyside club reached the final of the Champions League. An 100% English final, since the Reds face Tottenham in Madrid on June 1st.


While Wijnaldum and Origi were the heroes on the pitch, Anfield had its own role to play. The tunnel is legendary, in part thanks to the plaque inscribed with the words “This is Anfield”. Speaking of which, Jürgen Klopp has completely banned his players from touching the famous plaque...for a very specific reason!
