Being engaged gives students access to forums that provide insight from industry professionals. Ever wondered what is like to work on Wall Street? Maybe you are interested in Quantitative Portfolio Management or Operation & Regulation of Investment Vehicles such as Mutual Funds, Exchange-Traded Funds & Hedge Funds. If so, a degree in finance is a great way to build that foundation. You will want to know the global markets, corporate governance, global economy and global investment strategy.

The students of Columbus State University's Finance Management Association (FMA) were able to attend the Quinnipiac Global Asset Management Education (G.A.M.E.) Forum this Spring (2019) to experience . The three-day forum, held annually in the spring, gathers some of the most successful people in finance together to share their knowledge, expertise and outlook for the future with graduate and undergraduate students.

If you have never traveled outside of your city or state, getting involved in student organizations on campus can often create opportunities to travel. Officers are organizations are no strangers to presenting, competing and participating in Industry level. It is a great way to add value to your BBA in Finance.
