KNBTS encourages documention of any case where charges for blood transfusion arises

The Kenya National blood Transfusion Services (KNBTS) now wants members of the public to report cases where hospitals charge for blood transfusion. KNBTS while responding to complaints raised by members of the public on their official twitter page , said its mandate is to collect, test, process and distribute blood and blood products to all transfusing hospitals in Kenya for free. The agency says any institution selling blood was doing it against the law.
